How She Styled It: Alisa Bovino of A Glass of Bovino

A green-obsessed millennial with paint commitment issues and a penchant for the past, Alisa’s passion for new traditional interiors came to fruition only after powering through a farmhouse identity crisis circa 2017.

She has since curated and renovated more than half of her builder-grade New Jersey home using her thrifty attitude and innate grit. When she’s not working her day job as a marketer, she continues to hone her eye on timeless design, swatch Farrow and Ball’s latest color, and stalk secondhand furniture on Facebook Marketplace.

Any tips for creating a stylish home?

Don't buy all your furnishings at the same place. Have a mix of high and low, old and new.  These layers create a home that tells a story!
