Charlotte Lucas Design, founded by Charlotte Harris Lucas in 2012, is a full service design firm out of Charlotte, North Carolina, known for a bold use of color and whimsy detail in residential and commercial projects. Charlotte Lucas’s love for design started at an early age, as she learned from her designer mother to appreciate the impact of color, pattern, and detail.
This focus on color and detail in her interiors has developed into a signature, recognizable style. Charlotte draws inspiration from her clients and their homes, family heirlooms, and traveling. She loves to go on buying trips for antiques and one-of-a-kind objects, as she is always mindful that minor details can create major impact. She and her team focus on providing perfectly proportioned rooms and custom designs for each client.
Charlotte was born and raised in North Carolina and attended design school at the University of Georgia, where she was recently named one of the University's 40 Under 40. She also won this honor from the Charlotte Business Journal in 2022.
